The festival portion of our church year cycle is coming to an end. This Sunday, we celebrate Pentecost and next week Holy Trinity Sunday, but to top it all off a special service of installation will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, June 3rd to officially welcome Rev. Robin E. Ressler into the ministry of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church.

Singing from the Loft
As regular worshippers have already noticed, there has been a change in the way the services are led. Instead of leading from the front, the cantor and choir have moved to the choir loft. This change was made so that the congregation could recieve a "less performancy" kind of support when singing the liturgy and hymns. We are also hoping that by taking a less visible approach, new singers might feel more comfortable joining the choir which often sings on the first Sunday of the month.
