13People were bringing little children to Jesus to have him touch them, but the disciples rebuked them. 14When Jesus saw this, he was indignant. He said to them, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. 15I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it." 16And he took the children in his arms, put his hands on them and blessed them.
In order to assist parents of young children, families are welcome to sit in the front near the piano especially during the bilingual services. This makes it easier for children to see what is going on and for the worship leaders to connect with them and see who they are. Worship is for the children as well as adults. If you find that you are not satisfied with the behavior of your child, the leaders will understand if you need to step outside for a little while. If you would like your child to be prayed over or blessed after the service, the pastor and/or cantor will be happy to pray with you and the child.
